Laird Q. Cagan, Director & Co-founder
Mr. Cagan is Managing Director and co-founder of Cagan McAfee Capital Partners, LLC a technology focused private equity firm in Cupertino, California. Previously he was president and founder of Cagan Capital, LLC, a merchant bank he formed in 1990. Mr. Cagan has been involved, over the past 20 years, as a venture capitalist, investment banker and principal on a wide variety of financings, mergers, acquisitions and investments of high growth companies in a wide variety of industries. At Goldman, Sachs and Drexel Burnham Lambert he was involved in over $14 billion worth of transactions. Recently, as an early shareholder, Mr. Cagan assisted EarthShell Corporation, a materials sciences research and development company that invented a biodegradable replacement for Styrofoam, to raise over $50 million of private capital and then in March, 1998, complete a $277 million IPO at a $2.1 billion market valuation.  Mr. Cagan assisted in starting, as an officer and/or director, the following companies: Acorn Technologies, Inc, a high technology, intellectual property development and licensing company; Burstein Laboratories, Inc., a medical diagnostics company; Wall Street Direct, Inc., an Internet financial portal providing a global database for investors of public and private deals; GeriGene Medical Corporation, a biotechnology company focused on identifying the genes of aging; and BarterNet, a worldwide, Internet B2B exchange, He raised $26 million of venture capital for BarterNet as CEO, founder.  Mr. Cagan attended M.I.T. and received a BS, MS degrees in engineering and an MBA from Stanford University. He is an active member of the Young President's Organization.

E. J. DiPaolo, Director
Edward J. DiPaolo is a Partner with Growth Capital Partners, L.P.  From 1976 to 2002, Mr. DiPaolo was with Halliburton Company, most recently as Group Senior Vice President of Global Business Development where he was responsible for the management of overall customer relationships with the companies within Halliburton's upstream businesses, including Halliburton Energy Services, Brown and Root Energy Services, Landmark Graphics and Wellstream. Previously, Mr. DiPaolo was the North American Regional Vice President and Far East Regional Vice President within Halliburton. In this role, he was accountable for the overall operation of Halliburton Energy Services in these regions. Mr. DiPaolo currently serves on the Board of Directors of Boots and Coots Group. He received his undergraduate degree in agricultural engineering from West Virginia University in 1976 and serves on the Advisory Board of the West Virginia University College of Engineering.

Gene Stoever, Director
Mr. Stoever is a 32 year veteran of KPMG Peat Marwick, retiring in 1993. While with KPMG, Mr. Stoever was a designated SEC Reviewing Partner responsible for advising clients and reviewing all filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. His industry expertise includes extensive work in the energy industry, business combinations, initial public offerings and SEC filings. Since his retirement from KPMG, Mr. Stoever has served on several boards of directors for private companies, several of which were SEC reporting companies due to publicly held debt, and has served in the capacity of audit committee chairman. Mr. Stoever received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting, with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin, and he is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas, having previously been licensed to also practice in the states of North Carolina and Louisiana. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA").

Bill Dozier, Director
Mr. Dozier joined the board of directors in late 2005 with 30 years of operations and engineering experience in the oil and gas industry. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Business Development for Vintage Petroleum after serving as their Vice President of Operations. Previously, he served as Manager of Operations Engineering for Santa Fe Minerals and began his career with Amoco after earning his B.S. in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas.

Kelly W. Loyd, Director
Since 2004, Mr. Loyd has been employed by JVL Advisors, LLC, a private energy investment company that is a major stockholder of our company. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Loyd was an associate in the energy corporate finance investment banking group at RBC Capital Markets and Howard Frazier Barker Elliot.  Previously, Mr. Loyd served as a founder and controller of L.A.B. Sports and Entertainment, a sports/entertainment promotion and production company, a Managing Partner of Tigre Leasing, L.L.P, a commercial real estate company focused on the purchase/sale of resort properties, and as an analyst in Jefferies and Company, Inc.’s energy corporate finance investment banking group. 

Mr. Loyd received a B.S. in Economics with Finance Applications from Southern Methodist University and earned an MBA from Rice University.
