Evolution Petroleum is focused on identifying and developing enhanced oil recovery reserves, bypassed oil and gas resources and unconventional gas shale resources utilizing current technology and capital. We are particularly interested in opportunities that have been neglected by industry due to perceived notions of low margins and upside potential. These opportunities generally do not have the extreme upside potential of exploration, but also do not have the related high risk of finding oil and gas.

We are focused on three initiatives:

• Gas flood based enhanced oil recovery
• Technology-based redevelopment of mature oil and gas fields using our GARP® technology, and
• Unconventional resource development using modern stimulation/completion technologies
